Just when you thought you know what were were all talking about

Andrew Jones AKA Tall Skinny Kiwi, posted about "the demise of the term" emgerging or its other variations.  Just when you thought you knew what the emergent church was, here we go again.  Hey no one (except me) is saying "Da Bomb" anymore. ("That is so '94!")  Ideas and terms come and go.  Its just like what happend to Aternative Rock.  It was a movement that pushed Rock music forward.  It's the same thing.  The experimentors of church and culture are bored by the term now that it's a mainstream word.  Maybe in 100 years my great grand kid will say "Ya, may Great Grandpa was part of 'The Great Emergence.'"  Who knows.  Next!  Check out Andrew's post.
