This got started because of an urgency to see God's whole church be affective in "the new world" that has started to emerge. Also to see the Church of God Reformation Movement re-emerge into that world. Most of us were waiting for something we could do to help the church move into the future...
that was really intersting. Good article. I had a thought about some comments about "emerging" one time. "So when has the church emerged?" My simple answer is, when Jesus comes back. If we look at church organically, it will change shape and grow. If God is truly shaping and growing us, the church will change. If we are in persuit of Him not just how we see or think about Him then we will say and do differantly.
I totally agree. When in history has change come to a stand still? When have the people of God ever arrived at their destination? What way of life has been cemented in time? The church will always change because God will always be working and creating in us.
