Migration Weigh-In
This is a link to Tony Jones blog response to Chuck Colson's: "Emerging Confusion: Jesus is the Truth Whether We Experience Him or Not" in Christianity Today. Jones really weighs in on the relational and experiential version of truth that some of us hold.
"What makes the gospel true, especially if those of us in the world have no experience of its truthfulness?"
Yea, this is a definite read, and if you have the time, share your comments. And if anyone can find the original Colson article, could you please email it to me, Andy, at daileymail@gmail.com thanks!

I just think that Colson is the poster child for modern christianity. This sparring shows off a point of differances in worldview shift from modern to postmodern. Two things it points out that I see are: The Rational vs experianial, and Individual vs Communal. If truth is limited to a chemical/electrical impulsues in my brain, that is really limited, and narrow. Jesus said he is the Truth. He has a body, mind and soul. Living truth, not merely ojective reasoning. Much more than facts or beliefs to be spoken. Jesus is Truth incarnate. Living, walking, talking, loving truth. Jesus can transfrom all of us, its not limited to our mind.
It doesn't seem that Colson will ever let that go. So you might find this bumber sticker on his Buick: "You can pry true Truth from my cold dead fingers." I'm not sure that was fair or respectful, I just thought it was witty.
